Yankees, Red Sox, Fitness and Fashion

Good morning, it’s a Monday, how are we feeling? I personally am feeling pretty excited, about a few different things going on in our lives. Baseball is a very important part of my life. I can admit I’m addicted. I have that type personality, but this addiction is the least hurtful of all of my addictions. Some, my family, for instance, may beg to differ. Folks I DVR every single Yankees game. By hook or by crook I watch every one of them. I DVR for 2 reasons, I want to keep my family. By that I mean if I were to watch the games every day/night when they are scheduled, I’d never spend time with the family. Secondly, I fast forward through the commercials. YES! The last time I wrote was May 2 nd . The Red Sox were in first place with a record of 22-8. The Yankees, MY Yankees, had a record of 22-10 putting them 2 games behind the Sawx. Since that time the Yankees are 8-2, the Sawx, 6-4, including losing 2 out of 3 to the Yanks. Let’s do the math, ahh yes both teams share a rec...

FAR CRY 5 , A Good Day for Eddie

A good day for Eddie is any day that involves games, more specifically Xbox One games which he plays extensively. Our goal? to get him involved with us and share his gaming world So today,  we offered to buy a game, for him, that he would "review" for our BLOG and also he would have to teach us how to play.  At first, we are told by Eddie, that IGN, formerly Imagine Games Network, already does that, and why would anyone come to our blog to read about Video GAMES?(OK, he has a point) but we told him that if HE gave his opinion maybe they would. He immediately mentioned. Far Cry 5  and after investigation (Google search) We find they rated the game 8.9 out of 10 and it is "Secretly the Funniest Game in Years" (sound's good). Excitedly though, after his initial resistance to include us, his desire for the game overcame his desire to exclude us and he agreed.  We ventured immediately out of the house, which is rare for a gamer, and headed to, the best place in...

A blog?? What’s a blog? Up until a couple of days ago, I’ve never read a  blog, much less know what one is.  So here I go for better or worse. I’ll start off with, I’m a huge baseball  fan, hockey fan, and football fan. I must admit, with the number of  criminals, unsavory characters, domestic violence and disrespecting the  flag of our great nation, my football fandom is on the decline.  Today is opening day for baseball. I’m a die-hard Yankees fan, have  been since I saw my first game at Yankee Stadium. I’ll never forget it. It  was a double header, remember those? Pay for 1 ticket see 2 games? I  was sitting down the third base line. It was the second game, and some  guy named Mickey Mantle came to the plate. When I heard Bob  Shepherd announce his name, a chill ran through me. A Day With NOOM Coach

What a day! I have tried to get here all day because I wanted to tell you about this app called “Noom Coach”.  It seems like what I have seen before , a calorie counting app but it’s not, it’s so much more and different.  It provides Little information blurbs every day in a lighthearted way, it asks how you learn best and how do you like your encouragement, HOT, Warm or cold.  And it gives you an analysis of WHAT you are eating.  @NOOMCOACH take a look.  It tracks weight with your Fitbit or whatever you use, counts calories and shows you green, yellow or red for how your calories break down showing you that you can do better and not eat that red food.  How you are doing on green and how to do foods and you learn about cravings and other hotspots.  It’s simple but it’s really helping me.  Oh, you have humans helping too. My Noom Coach  told me if I keep eating good, I would lose a couple pounds by end of week and I DID!  It’s been 1 week ...

Final Nor'easter

We just came through the, most likely, last Nor'easter of 2017/2018.  It's kinda sad because we didn't get a lot of stormy weather and I really like stormy weather.  The storm is over with kinda a mighty roar.....not really.
